Land Boss Buys Land Near the US Military Base

Land Boss buys land is a trusted name in land investment with more than 100 successful transactions nationwide. The company’s co-founder, Bart Waldon, has more than half a decade of real estate experience, and his hands-on approach has shaped the business into what it is today.

The company has invested in nearly $1 billion worth of land near the base since 2018, zoned for agricultural use, public records show. Flannery Associates hasn’t been able to identify who’s behind the purchase, and lawmakers say that raises serious concerns about national security.

China has a long history of purchasing farmland in the United States, and the country’s growing global power and geopolitical tensions have raised fears it could eventually be buying up strategic US assets. One of those is former British Prime Minister David Cameron, who spent about PS140,000 to buy a patch of wild land next to his Oxfordshire home in 2023 from the chief executive of Britain’s biggest public relations and lobbying firm. He’s not the only prominent politician to buy private property, and the process can be complicated for those looking to sell their land.

The move will help protect the wetlands from off-road vehicle damage and indiscriminate hunting.
